Camp Fire is a youth development organization committed to building upon over 100 years of rich history and experience in responding to the changing needs of youth. We believe that through informal education programs "kids can be kids," have fun, learn to set goals, and meet challenges.

Club Stride Inc

Club Stride, Inc. provides high-quality experiential civic education to increase the scale, impact, and equity of civic engagement in Solano County. Our overarching goal is to close civic participation gaps that contribute to unhealthy communities. Our approach to civic renewal is youth-centered, participatory, and focuses on highlighting connections between media literacy and civic education.

KOL Education Foundation

KOL Education Foundation is a youth mentoring organization founded in Solano County designed to work with at-risk youth to help them develop their academic skills, leadership potential, and to give them financial support. The members realized a need in the community to encourage students to pursue a higher education after high school and to do productive activities in the community. We have given over $200,000 in scholarships and continue to support the youth in Solano County.

Solano Valley Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Delta Sigma Theta is an international non-profit public service organization. A wide range of programs address education, health, international development, and strengthening of the African American family and the community at large. Delta Sigma Theta provides public service initiatives through its Five-Point Program Thrust of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club

Ensuring a safe, productive place for kids to spend out-of-school time is vital. Our goal at The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club is to inspire our youth to believe in themselves and to enhance their lives through the programs brought to them by our compassionate staff. We provide our young people with life-changing programs that develop a desire for learning and we believe that every young person deserves a great future.

All participating nonprofits have demonstrated that they meet (or exceed) the eligibility criteria shown below.

  • A 501 (c) (3) organization in good standing with the IRS
  • A current NPP member with Solano Community Foundation
  • Headquartered in, or providing services to residents of Solano County
  • Has filed at least one annual tax form 990 (or N-990)
