Description
Aldea serves more than 3,000 people annually through therapy and psychiatry, substance abuse prevention and treatment services, treatment foster care and adoption services, and other services that enable people to improve their health, relationships, and, ultimately, their community.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve lives and create bright futures for people we serve by providing professional mental health, child welfare, and support services in a manner that respects the dignity and individuality of each person.
Programs
Treatment Foster Care & Adoptions Services – This program provides foster care and adoption services for kids with mental health and behavioral issues, as well as foster family certification and support.
Supportive Outreach & Access to Resources (SOAR) – This program enables people who are experiencing the symptoms of early psychosis to reduce and manage their symptoms so they may succeed in education, careers, and relationships.
Accomplishments
Transitional Housing Plus Foster Care: Aldea had group training by Wolfe center staff – art therapy, education on substance use, effective communication, etc. It enables youth to be better prepared to face the world. If not in this program, they would have most likely been homeless.
Homeless Family: Aldea was able to help two Napa homeless families with children stay in our triplex unit.
Funding Goals
Our goal is to raise $2,000 for Treatment Foster Care & Adoptions Services and
$1,500 for Supportive Outreach & Access to Resources (SOAR).
