The Benicia Community Action Council offers a broad range of support services to the residents of Benicia. Our primary areas of focus are housing, homelessness, hunger, and financial stability. Many of our clients are of the aging population as Benicia has one of the largest aging demographics in our county. We have specialized our services to cater to the needs of our community. We have seen our programs change lives.

CANB provides services and resources for people in Solano County to obtain and maintain housing. CANB provides free food, mailing address, payee services, referrals for employment, classes and training, housing, events and mainstream benefits. We endeavor to navigate clients through the multiple resources in the community and to partner with agencies and community organizations to provide holistic services to anyone in need.

Catholic Charities of Yolo-Solano provide services to the poor and vulnerable, promoting human dignity, and advancing social justice. We offer programs and services in three areas: Family Assistance - Critical needs to Individual/Family with a food assistance pantry, Cal Fresh, Outreach,Snap Ed, Season of Sharing-rental assistance and Vita Tax Assistance Counseling Program - Martial, Family, and Child Development Immigration Legal Services - Full DOJ accredited program with legal assistance

We want to help close the doors to homelessness and domestic violence, insecurities, discouragement and failures that many women face. Vacaville Social Services Corporation (VSSC) has been Vacaville's leading homeless advocacy program for the past 30 years. We have two unique programs that serve local homeless adults, families, and youth. Opportunity House Homeless Shelter is a sober living work-to-housing shelter that provides housing, case management, sobriety support, and work-to-housing programming to homeless adults and families. My Friend's House provides outreach and case management to local homeless youth.
