Fairfield Suisun Rotary Club Foundation

The Foundation provides programs for at-risk and disadvantaged youth in our community. These include the Annual Teen Good Character Awards, the Rotary Success Scholars Program, the Ready to Succeed Program, and the Teen Cultural Arts Program.

Robby Poblete Foundation

Robby Poblete Foundation's mission is to reduce gun violence through its gun buyback program, and transform them into instruments of hope and opportunity through its art and vocational programs.

Solano County Computer & Digital Skills Center

Founded in 2017 by educators, we service the Solano county area focusing on children and young adults. We believe everyone is entitled to a strong educational base. Education today requires a digital foundation as well. We seek to bridge the gap between core education and digital literacy to seal each person’s foundation. In short, we aim improve the quality of education and digital literacy in our community using learning as a path towards opportunity and fulfillment.

Solano County Farm Bureau Ag Education Foundation

Our mission is to promote an understanding of agriculture by educating and providing students of all ages with the resources the need and hands on experience. We provide scholarships for students enrolled in an agriculture related field in community college or a four-year university.

Solano County Library Foundation

This Foundation supports the Reach Out and Read,, and Solano Kids Read, primary programs of the Solano County Library.

Vacaville Public Education Foundation (VPEF)

Since inception in 2003, the Vacaville Public Education Foundation, in a partnership with the community of Vacaville, has raised millions of dollars to fund learning and enrichment opportunities for students of the Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD). We fund programs like after-school robotics, early reading, science exploration, nature hikes, sports, music, and many others that help our students become well-rounded.

Water and Education International (WEI)

WEI is a global humanitarian organization with a driving purpose of addressing the need for safe water in developing countries and for educational opportunities in the world. WEI also promotes wellness through health education.

GLS Participant List

All participating nonprofits have demonstrated that they meet (or exceed) the eligibility criteria shown below.

  • A 501 (c) (3) organization in good standing with the IRS
  • A NPP member with Solano Community Foundation
  • Headquartered in, or providing services to residents of Solano County
  • Has filed a tax form 990 for a minimum of 3 years
