Club Stride, Inc. provides high-quality experiential civic education to increase the scale, impact, and equity of civic engagement in Solano County. Our overarching goal is to close civic participation gaps that contribute to unhealthy communities. Our approach to civic renewal is youth-centered, participatory, and focuses on highlighting connections between media literacy and civic education.
KOL Education Foundation is a youth mentoring organization founded in Solano County designed to work with at-risk youth to help them develop their academic skills, leadership potential, and to give them financial support. The members realized a need in the community to encourage students to pursue a higher education after high school and to do productive activities in the community. We have given over $200,000 in scholarships and continue to support the youth in Solano County.
Leaf of Life YOUTH RISING, founded by reggae artist Leaf of Life, is a non profit corporation helping youth turn their dreams into reality! We work directly with underrepresented communities in Jamaica & Northern California to support the development of youths skills, talents & arts.
